PICSIL Grips

How are PICSIL hand grips made?

Have you ever wondered how a hand grip is made?

First of all, we want to clarify something that is very important to us: here, we don’t manufacture — we craft.

PICSIL has its own workshop in Navarra (Spain), where our hand grips are crafted artisanally, taking care of every single detail of the process. From this dedicated space, the team works on each piece by hand, combining tradition, experience, and a true passion for sport.

And it’s not just a matter of words. It’s a matter of philosophy — how we understand our product and the value of what we do. In this workshop, we don’t produce items in series; we create hand grips with soul.

Each one is unique, because it passes through the hands of at least four people: the one who cuts, the one who paints, the one who sews, and the one who packages it. Every person adds their care, precision, and a touch of love to the process.

That is precisely what sets us apart from other brands: we don’t buy finished products — we create them. That is our essence, and it’s what gives every PICSIL hand grip a story behind it.

So when you see a PICSIL hand grip, remember that behind it there is work, dedication, and a team that puts its heart into what it does — right here in Spain, in Cintruénigo (Navarra). That’s what makes us unique.

Our crafting process, step by step

1. Raw leather arrives

We receive rolls of completely raw leather. This is where everything begins, from scratch. We cut the leather into the exact shape each model will have. This is the physical birth of the hand grip.

2. Painting and assembly

After cutting the leather, it is painted and left to rest so the colors can set. At the same time, the rest of the materials are cut and the full set is assembled, giving shape to the hand grip.

3. Final assembly

The painted leather is joined with the finished Velcro and its ring. At this moment, the hand grip is complete.

4. Final packaging

We inspect each hand grip, place it in its box, and add flyers, a mesh bag, and wristbands.

This is how what started as a piece of raw leather becomes a PICSIL product with identity, quality, and soul.
